"My relationship with trees and wood started when I was a child.
I used to spent the whole summer in the country where my grandfather took
me for long walks in the wood every day. Entering the woods meant something
special to me; I penetrated a new and mysterious dimension allowing undreamt
wonders: a mushroom, a rare flower, a berry or fruit were great source
of emotion.
The most important thing , however, was the constantly changing landscape.
It was always the same and always different. A huge tree, a clearing,
a spring, a pool reflecting the sky might become a discovery which impelled
me to penetrate even more deeply inside the essence of thing. I never
saw fairies or gnome, though exist they might, but discovered something,
so profound I cannot even explain it completely.
I remember wandering alone for hours on end, observing stones, a blade
of grass and the light filtering from above, through the green vault."
